Your Story has Blank Space Available

Blank Space.

More than just a Taylor Swift song.

It represents what is in front of me right now (literally).

And it represents what sits in front of you as well!

One of the things I’ve learned while trying to live my life through the lens of a story is that there’s blank space available.  Yes, my life is pretty full and maybe yours is too but when we break it down from year to year - month to month - week to week - day to day - moment to moment… there’s a lot of blank space for us to write.

We have thousands of opportunities every day to fill in the blank space as we choose.

Maybe you don’t get to decide when you show up for work. Maybe your work is decided for you. Maybe you have kids, and they decided the day should go differently then how you were dreaming it would (how politically correct of a sentence is that?!).

Whoever you are and whatever your situation - No one can take your perspective of and approach to your next moment.

We can fill our blank spaces with anger, sadness, regret and fear. Chances are, we all could justify our choice to feel those things!

OR we can look at the blank spaces as opportunities to write a story we’d love to live out. A story that, at the end of the day, we’re proud to tell.

This blog will be a lot of my thoughts, stories, insights, struggles, and overall randomness. It will also feature a handful of guests sharing portions of their stories too. The goal is to inspire you to fill your blank space with moments you’re proud of. I hope you find it encouraging and helpful as the story of your life continues turning pages.
